James Degale v Chris Eubank - Official Team Hospitality Packages James DeGale v Chris Eubank JNR – Official Team Hospitality Packages – We are thrilled to offer our clients a brilliant night’s official pre and post-fight Team DeGale hospitality at the magnificent 5* InterContinental O2 Hotel, with cracking ticket options for the big fight.

The much-anticipated all-British grudge match between James DeGale and Chris Eubank Jr has been on the cards for years, with the fighters at loggerheads over social media ever since their sparring days. Defeat for either fighter will be a bitter pill to swallow, with a big world title bout the likely reward for the victor.

Joining us before the fight is recently retired British Boxing Legend Tony Bellew who will be offering his pre-fight analysis and thoughts on his glittering career. After the fight we will welcome former world cruiserweight champion Glenn McCrory to summarise what should be a cracking fight. Guests will enjoy a pre-fight three course meal, and complimentary bar, before heading over to the Arena to watch what is certainly one of the biggest fights of the year!

DeGale v Eubank Jr:
In what is rightly being billed as a true grudge match, two bitter British rivals step up for a fight which has been inevitable ever since their amateur days. Having famously won the Olympic Middleweight gold medal at the Beijing Olympics, James ‘Chunky’ DeGale has enjoyed a great career to date, with 24 wins from 27 fights with only two defeats. Highlights so far include winning the IBF title against American Andre Dirrell in Massachusetts, and subsequent defences against some big names including Lucien Bute, Rogelio Medina and an incredibly hard-fought majority draw against teak tough Badou Jack.

His shock defeat against Caleb Truax was reversed in the rematch in which he reclaimed the IBF title, which he has now vacated in search of bigger fights. Opponent Chris Eubank Jr suffered only the second defeat of his career against George Groves last year on points and is a man on a mission to reassert his obvious talent. Prior to the Groves setback he amassed 8 victories, including winning the IBO title against Australian Renold Quinlan, which he has successfully defended against both Arthur Abraham and Avni Yildirim. The winner of this huge clash will no doubt go on to a huge world title fight, possibly against unbeaten Brit Callum Smith, with defeat unthinkable for both fighters.

Tony Bellew:
Recently retired rolling a brave defeat against brilliant unbeaten Ukranian Oleksandr Usyk for the unified cruiserweight world title, we are thrilled to welcome one of British Boxing’s best loved fighters, Tony Bellew. With only 3 defeats in 34 pro fights, Tony has cemented his legacy as one of Britains best fighters of recent years. Never one to shirk a challenge, the ‘Bomber’ has mixed it up in the light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions during his glittering career. Tony held the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles between 2010 and 2014 and the European cruiserweight title from 2015 to 2016. he became WBC world champion at cruiserweight by knocking out Illunga Makubu in 2016, with a successful defence against BJ Flores following, after which he famously called our David Haye post fight. The two fights against Haye were career-defining as Tony defied the odds in defeating a brave, injury-hampered David Haye in the first, before silencing any doubters with a stunning, comprehensive knock-out victory in the rematch. It will be fascinating to hear from a man who has done so much for British boxing.

Glenn McCrory:
A former IBF Cruiserweight champion, Glenn progressed through the ranks by winning his first 13 pro fights. A poor run saw him lose 5 of his next 6 fights before he staged a remarkable turnaround, winning his next 13 fights. His defeat of Chisanda Mutti in 1987 landed him the Commonwealth Cruiserweight title, before beating Tee Jay in early 1988 to add the British title to his collection. Glenn’s rise to the top culminated in winning the IBF Cruiserweight world title with a convincing points victory over Patrick “Killer” Lumumba in 1989, which he defended successfully in his next fight. After a defeat to Jeff Lampkin, Glenn stepped up to Heavyweight to challenge a young up-and-coming heavyweight called Lennox Lewis, losing in the second round to the legend-to-be. He was a regular analyst on Sky Sports Boxing coverage for many years and is now the principle boxing pundit on Talksport Radio.

Pete Graves:
A keen boxing fan, Pete has enjoyed a swift rise through the broadcasting ranks to become one of the most recognisable faces on Sky Sports. After leaving university, Pete started his broadcasting career with the hospital radio show Radio Tyneside, before working in the local Metro Radio, and then ITV Tyneside as a sports reporter. Since 2009 he has worked at Sky Sports, mainly as a presenter, where his passion for sport and all-round knowledge are amongst his greatest assets. Over the past few years Pete has become a great asset as a regular host of our events, and we are delighted to have him as always!
