Formula 1 has confirmed the 2027 season schedule, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest years yet for fans and hospitality guests alike. With 24 Grand Prix confirmed across 22 different countries, and a record 10 Sprint Race weekends, there has never been a better time to start planning your VIP experience for the 2027 season.
What’s New For the 2027 Formula 1 Season?
The season opens with four days of pre-season testing at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain from 24th to 27th February. The championship gets underway there on Sunday 14th March, followed by the neighbouring Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. From there, the grid will head East for the Australian, Japanese and Chinese Grand Prix, then across to Miami and Canada.
Next is the European leg of the calendar, which includes the return of the Portuguese Grand Prix, between the famous Monaco and British Grand Prix. Familiar favourites, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Azerbaijan follow, then the Turkish Grand Prix makes its return to the schedule, followed by Singapore.
The 2027 season will come to its thrilling conclusion with the run-in that is now well known to fans: United States, Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar, and the now iconic Abu Dhabi.
More Sprint Action Than Ever
Sprint weekends have proven to be a huge hit with fans, and F1 has responded by increasing the number of Sprint Races from 6 to 10 in 2027.
The curtain-raiser in Bahrain, along with Australia, Japan, Monaco and the finale in Abu Dhabi, will all host a Sprint Race for the very first time. Sprint Races will also return to fan favourite circuits Montreal, Silverstone, Monza, Sao Paulo and Lusail.
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said “the 2027 calendar brings together some of the most iconic circuits and vibrant cities in the world, creating an incredible stage for another unforgettable season of Formula 1.”
