OASIS ANNOUNCE RETURN FOR 2025 – Summer 2025

After years of speculation, the moment fans have been waiting for has finally arrived: Oasis is back. The iconic Britpop band, known for hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” has reunited and announced a massive UK and Ireland stadium tour for 2025. The tour, dubbed “OASIS LIVE 25,” will mark the band’s first live performances in over a decade and promises to be one of the most significant musical events of the year.

The Big Reveal

Rumours of the reunion had been swirling for weeks, but anticipation reached its peak during Liam Gallagher’s headline set at Reading Festival 2024 on Sunday, 25th August. Fans were sent into a frenzy when Liam teased an upcoming announcement. Just a few days later, on Tuesday, 27th August, the band confirmed the news via their official social media channels, revealing the details of the OASIS LIVE 25 world tour.

Oasis Tour Dates and Locations

Oasis will kick off their tour next summer with 14 stadium dates across the UK and Ireland. The band will perform in some of the most iconic venues, with stops in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. These shows will be the band’s only European performances in 2025, making them a must-see event for fans across the continent.

Here are the confirmed dates and locations:

Cardiff Principality Stadium – 4th / 5th July

Manchester Heaton Park – 11th / 12th / 19th / 20th July

London Wembley Stadium – 25th / 26th July / 2nd / 3rd August

Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium – 8th / 9th August

Dublin Croke Park – 16th / 17th August

While these will be the only European shows, the band has hinted at plans to take the OASIS LIVE 25 tour to other continents later in the year, giving international fans a chance to see the legendary band live.

A Reunion Years in the Making

The reunion comes after a well-documented and very public feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, which led to the band’s split in 2009. However, in a short statement accompanying the tour announcement, the band shared that they have “buried the hatchet” and are ready to return to the stage together. Along with the announcement, a new photo of the Gallagher brothers, taken by renowned photographer Simon Emmett, was released, showing the duo side-by-side, signalling that the tension between them has finally eased.
