What occurred in last years Magic Weekend
Last years Magic Weekend saw for the very time 2 French sides participating over the weekend with Toulouse replacing Leigh Centurions after being relegated at the end of the 2021 season. We also saw for the or the first time ever, The Magic Weekend was played in the middle of summer as it took place on the weekend of July 9-10. This didn’t effect the overall attendance as it reached 62,154 over the 2 days !
We were treated to 3 huge rival derby fixtures over the weekend….
